What to Expect

We’re looking forward to meeting you! Here are answers to a few questions
that should help make your first visit as easy and comfortable as possible.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I GET THERE?

When you enter the building, come to a Welcome Desk and our welcome team will show you where to take your children, and find the auditorium, coffee areas and restrooms. If you need anything throughout the day, feel free to come back to the Welcome Desk anytime or just ask any greeter at a door. We’re all here to help you!

HOW LONG ARE THE SERVICES?

Services last about one hour. We start by singing several worship songs and then Pastor Chuck preaches. If you’re visiting for the first time, give yourself a few extra minutes before the service to stop by the commons for coffee and donuts, located at the end of the main hallway. We’d love to meet you, and answer any questions you may have.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Clothes.  That's our only request.  We are much more concerned about what's going on inside of a person, than what they are wearing on the outside.  Some of our folks dress up, while others don't. So don't worry about it!

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR KIDS?

Fun, energetic, and age-appropriate connection classes, worship and other activities are available for all kids from Birth–12th Grade.

CAN I ATTEND IF I'M

_____________?

What is your fear about not being accepted? You fill in the blank. Divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, atheist, skeptic, etc. It doesn’t matter. Everyone is welcome at FBC Covington. So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!

DO YOU HAVE WIFI?

Yes, we do have free wifi! We also serve free coffee and donuts, so come enjoy a cup of coffee before service and access your online Bible during worship!
