The orchestra is made up of ordinary people from all walks of life, which are bound together by the calling to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. Below are some of the ways we serve and lead in worship as part of our church life:

Our goal is to seek Christ in all we do and to acknowledge the talents and opportunities we’ve been given and to give them back to Him. We want to minister through our music to our congregation and the community around us while looking for creative ways to share the Gospel through our specific talents and ministry.

To be a member of the First Baptist Church Covington Orchestra:

• You must have previous experience on your instrument.

• You must commit and be faithful to the orchestra’s rehearsal and performance schedule.

• Our regular rehearsal time is on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
